The casserole has evolved from the northern Italian tradition of the "paiolo di ghisa", in which dishes such as meat and vegetable stews or polenta were prepared in a cast iron cauldron over an open fire. You can also cook in an open fire with our roaster - but probably more interesting for you is that it is also suitable for all types of stoves, including induction. The interaction of several factors ensures ideal cooking results with the induction roaster. First of all, there is the cast iron. This material has a particularly good heat conduction and distribution. Cast iron makes food particularly flavorful and gives it a pronounced roasted aroma - ideal for slow cooking, too. In addition, the roaster has a lid with drop structure. This special lid structure enables a very even distribution of moisture, the food gets a particularly good taste and a tender consistency.
